The Sales That Saved The Day

I was speaking with a customer very early this morning.

Her dial woke me up thanks to her, she sounded disturbed. Totally got rid of my sleep I thought of the worst case possible.

I told her to relax, the clearer you can speak the more articulate I can be. Note by this time I was scared for her already.

“I have been following the content strategy just as you crafted it with links to that business lead page you set up for me. I woke up this morning to 8 new messages, I messed up 2 now I have 6 leads left and I’m scared to even open it” she screamed into my ears.

Honestly, in my mind I was like “Which kind of trouble is this”. I was afraid to advise her so I don’t mess up whatever was left of the leads myself.

I told her “Well, ask them what they need. Once stated, calculate the costs, send it to them and don’t say a word until they reply to you”, she asked me if that was all.

I almost passed out, wanting to get myself off the situation quickly I said “yes”.

She called me this afternoon and told me 4 of her leads have paid for her services and the other 2 assured her to adjust their budgets and get back to her.

I’m so happy for her right now, I just took my first fresh breath for the day this afternoon.
